UEFA Nations League final Portugal – the Netherlands

Wednesday evening Switzerland watched how Ronaldo got the best of them by scoring a hat-trick late in the second half. After a bizarre penalty moment (1-1) Switzerland wasn’t able to pull it through, and in the 88th and 90th minutes, Ronaldo made his 53rd career hat-trick.

Just one day later it was England to face the Netherlands. It was a tough game. Marcus Rashford scored a penalty kick, after being fouled by Matthijs de Ligt. De Ligt however, made amends, scoring the 1-1 with a header.

After a very interesting second half with many errors, the Dutch were superior. After 120 minutes they managed to score the 2-1 and 3-1. It seems like the Netherlands under head coach Koeman are on their way back.

Sunday at 20.45 the Netherlands will face Portugal in the Estádio do Dragão in Porto.
